More Rush Comparisons November 23, 2005
The online metal mag The Gauntlet has posted 2 new album reviews, both of which mention comparisons to Rush. I”ve never heard of either of these bands, but whenever I hear mention of a Rush comparison they get my attention.
For hardcore band A Wilhelm Scream“s new album Ruiner they had this to say:
… When listening to “The Pool”, you may think that NOFX has gotten into a head-on collision with Rush and Alex Lifeson”s hands were sewn back onto Fat Mike. There”s a lot of tunefulness to be found here and one doesn”t even need to look for it.
