Rush tour update: regular sales at 10AM; next round of presales
UPDATE - 3/31@11:00AM: Reader Kurt noticed that I had missed some of the April 10th presale dates and Pat noted that the Salt Lake City show also goes on sale today but not through ticketmaster; they’ll be sold via smithtix.com.
Since regular ticket sales begin this morning I thought I’d open up a thread. Use the comments to share your ticket buying experience with us and to let us know what kind of seats you were able to score. Rush also announced the next round of presale dates (see below). The following dates are up for regular ticket sales this morning at 10AM (local venue time).

Eddie Trunk to interview Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson this week
Eddie Trunk on his Friday Night Rocks (airs on New York’s Q104.3) radio show last night played Far Cry and mentioned that he would be interviewing Geddy and Alex this week. No word on when it will air though. Eddie Trunk has interviewed Geddy and Alex many times before. His VH1 Classic interview with them from late 2005 can be viewed here. He also interviewed Neil Peart for the first time last fall; you can watch that interview here. Thanks to reader GoingBald for the heads up.

Updates and other random Rush stuff March 30, 2007
Here are this week’s site updates and random news from the world of Rushdom.
The number of registrations continues to grow - almost 400 confirmed users now. Remember - if you’re having any issues with registering or logging in, don’t hesitate to drop me a line. People also seem to be having way too much fun with the comment confirmation letters.
The ticketmaster presale is currently on for selected shows. See this post for details. From what I’ve read/heard so far people aren’t having all that great of luck with it. A few have though. Regular ticket sales start tomorrow.

Snakes & Arrows DVD album update
It looks as if the Snakes & Arrows DVD album is no longer available at Amazon. Not only that, it doesn’t show up at all - it just completely disappeared from the website. At this point I’m not sure what this means. I guess it’s possible they ran out of their allotted inventory, but I really don’t know. It is still available at Best Buy though (for a better price too).

Mid-week updates March 28, 2007
Where to start? It’s been another very hectic week in Rushland with the presale kickoff and news of the DVD album version of Snakes & Arrows. So I thought we could all take a collective deep breath and recap all of the latest happenings and go over some news that we missed.
Site Updates
I finally switched over to a registration-based commenting system on Sunday afternoon and it’s been a big success so far; just a few minor glitches. We have around 300 people signed up already and I’ll be taking your feedback and improving things as I get the time. Thanks for all your positive feedback. If you haven’t registered yet, go here to do so.

Rush Snakes & Arrows DVD Album Limited Edition
It appears that the DVD album rumors that Power Windows reported on Friday are true! The Rush preorder store store confirms it and Amazon has added a page for the Snakes & Arrows Limited Edition. Power Windows had reported that the rumor was that only 25,000 copies will be made. If this is the case you might want to order a copy sooner than later. As of this posting the DVD Album version of Snakes & Arrows was ranked #19 in sales at Amazon - just 3 hrs ago it was at #45! Here’s the blurb from the preorder store:
