I found one of Neil Peart’s explorations from his Anatomy of a Drum Solo instructional DVD on YouTube. The DVD included 2 of these 30-minute-plus explorations where Neil goes through a completely improvised workout on the drums. It’s in 4 parts and can be viewed here.

Apparently on July 26, 2008 Quebec City will be celebrating its 400th anniversary with a benefit concert along the lines of the Toronto Rocks concert for SARS. The rumor is that U2 will headline and that Rush, among others, may also participate.
